Since its establishment on November 15, 1915, the Citizens Volunteer Fire Company (CVFC) has been an unwavering pillar of support for our local communities.
Our dedicated team of volunteers covers a first response area exceeding 32 square miles, extending its protective reach to include Fawn Grove Borough, Fawn Township, parts of Peach Bottom Township, the South Eastern School District Administration Building, Fawn Elementary, SEMS-East and West, and Kennard-Dale High School.
In addition to our primary service area, we extend our commitment to mutual aid, covering over 120 square miles. This includes providing assistance to Delta Borough, East Hopewell Township, Lower Chanceford Township, Stewartstown Borough, Hopewell Township, Cross Roads Borough, various SESD Schools, and neighboring locations in Maryland such as Whiteford, Cardiff, Pylesville, Street, Norrisville, and North Harford Schools.
Our diverse membership comprises individuals who serve their local communities in multifaceted roles. Among us are laboratory and service technicians, medical equipment suppliers, nurses, teachers, ministers, federal, state, and county employees, construction workers, homemakers, and business owners.
